//未來,人與人正逐步「進化」,我們不再需要語言溝通,也能全知所有……而當愛走向虛擬,情感的本質仍是確實存在,還只是進化論的犧牲品?//

//In a future where human beings are said to be “evolving,” we may no longer need language to communicate, yet claim to know everything. But when love itself migrates into the virtual realm, does emotion remain a tangible human truth—or does it become a casualty of evolution?//
Beyond Dance Theater’s Artistic Director and Choreographer, Kelvin Mak, collaborates for the first time with Professor Ceri Sherlock, former Dean of the School of Drama at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Leading a cast of sixteen dancers and performers, they respond to the original text through a dance-theatre form, engaging in philosophical inquiry and using the body as language.
Through movement, the work articulates both the fear and the wonder of a future on the brink of losing verbal communication. It sketches the human condition at a moment when emotional intensity teeters between passion and disillusionment, revealing the unease, resistance, and fragile negotiations that persist between individuals. Within a fragmented and collapsing world, the audience is invited to question—once more—the very nature of emotion itself.
